Maybe something big is about to drop but I find it odd that the NYT, which was one of the absolute leaders in #MeTop coverage has yet to weigh in on the Cornell case. Also, I would caution that while it sure seems like administrators didn’t do enough here, we don’t know which ones or why.

The Pope reminds me of a version of Catholicism I knew growing up as a young man attending anti-war and anti-death penalty protests, where I met elderly Catholics who shared their version of faith with me. I learned that Catholicism was about love and mercy for the weak, the condemned, and the poor.
