Out here on the front line, Their actions reveal the true nature of their "brotherly" occupation. We don't just fight to protect our territory; we fight to defend our culture, our freedom to believe, and our right to exist. No amount of missiles can burn away our resolve. Glory to us. 🇺🇦

Destroying their economic assets deep in the rear means fewer guided bombs and shells hitting our positions at the zero line tomorrow. We don't want their land, but we will systematically dismantle their capacity to invade ours. Glory to 🇺🇦

We aren't just disrupting traffic, we are starving the Russian artillery and armor on the frontline of the fuel they need to attack us. When their rear collapses, their frontline positions become unsustainable. Crimea is Ukraine. Every strike brings us closer to cutting the leash entirely. Glory 🇺🇦

Ukraine and Moldova start first phase of EU membership negotiations
Election of new Hungarian government in April has paved way for EU member states to agree to open talks Ukraine and Moldova will take a decisive step towards joining the EU on Monday, as they embark on the first phase of membership negotiations. The start of substantive negotiations, launched by senior EU officials and ministers from both countries in Luxembourg on Monday, will be a highly symbolic moment for the two countries that were both part of the former Soviet Union. It comes after Russia has intensified its bombardment of Ukrainian towns and cities, while sustaining huge losses for little territorial gain. Continue reading...

Cutting off the enemy's military supply chain deep in their rear saves the lives of our infantry on the zero line. This is a war of attrition, and dismantling their industrial war machine is how we survive and win. Glory to Ukraine. 🇺🇦

Ukrainian lives and keeps our skies whole. The enemy continues to launch massive, coordinated strikes to overwhelm our grid, so the need for launchers and interceptor missiles remains constant. This kind of steady, predictable supply is exactly what allows us to keep fighting. Glory to Ukraine. 🇺🇦

The enemy is still deeply entrenched, heavily armed, and fighting viciously. Every meter of progress we make is paid for with immense effort, precision, and the lives of our brothers and sisters. The war is won by steady, grueling work on the ground, not by headlines. Glory to Ukraine. 🇺🇦

As a Ukrainian soldier, I’ve seen how quickly political decisions affect ordinary people’s daily lives. When leaders ignore obvious realities people can see with their own eyes, frustration only grows stronger.

I know what real war looks like fear, loss, and civilians paying the price. Debates about military action should never be treated like political theater because ordinary people always suffer first.

From Ukraine, we’ve learned that leaders can smile on television while ordinary people carry the real burden of political decisions. Reality eventually catches up with the talking points.

From Ukraine, it is painful watching democratic institutions treated like obstacles instead of responsibilities. Leadership without accountability only weakens trust at home and abroad.

Ukraine strikes multiple Russian regions with drones and missiles
Ukraine launched a large-scale attack on several Russian regions overnight on May 5, triggering missile alerts in multiple areas, according to the Russian news agency Interfax .  Ukrainian monitoring channels Exilenova+    and Supernova+   report that a facility belonging to AO "VNIIR-Progress" in Cheboksary, the capital of the Chuvash Republic, was hit during the night and morning, sparking a fire. The Ukrainian OSINT project Dnipro Osint claims the strikes were carried out with FP-5 "Flamingo" cruise missiles. The Telegram channel "Angry Chuvashia" says the facade of an administrative building caught fire and infrastructure was damaged, including the city's trolleybus network.  There are also reports that a college building and the "MTV Center" in Cheboksary were damaged. On the morning of May 5, the Chuvashia Health Ministry announced that three people were injured in the overnight attack on Cheboksary, including one in moderate condition and two with minor injuries.  Russia’s federal aviation authority introduced temporary restrictions on arrivals and departures at Cheboksary Airport following the attack.  VNIIR-Progress is part of the ABS Electro Group and manufactures electronic equipment, including systems for the Russian military. Its products include Kometa antennas, which are used to protect Shahed and Geran drones from electronic warfare, as well as satellite receivers for Kalibr and Iskander missiles. Ukrainian drones have repeatedly targeted VNIIR-Progress, with the first such strike occurring in June 2025, temporarily halting production at the facility. Russia’s Defense Ministry stated that from Monday evening until Tuesday morning, its forces destroyed 289 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory.  According to the ministry, drones were shot down over Bryansk, Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk, Kaluga, Smolensk, Oryol, Tver, Tula, Ryazan, Pskov, Novgorod, Leningrad, Rostov, and Volgograd regions, as well as the Moscow area, Crimea, Tatarstan, Krasnodar Krai, and the Sea of Azov. Several governors reported overnight fires in their regions. Alexander Drozdenko, governor of Leningrad region, said a fire broke out at an industrial site in Kirishi after a drone attack, with the intended target believed to be the Kirishinefteorgsintez oil refinery. In Bryansk region, governor Alexander Bogomaz stated that Ukrainian drones targeted the village of Demyanki in the Starodubsky district, injuring two people.
