Just been educated about the new “Single Malt” law in England that there’s has been a bit of noise about. Been hearing they’re the same as Scotland and Ireland. Turns out that’s not true and the guidelines in Scotland and Ireland are far more difficult to meet. Who saw that coming 🙄

Ok, last rugby rant until the next one. I’ve seen some posts about the great success of Scotland u20s posting Nucifora’s face.  The average age of the u20s players is about 19. He joined the SRU less than 2 years ago. There is NO FECKING CHANCE his influence had anything to do with that success.

So, I have a large and very busy wasps nest in the external wall of my house, beside my bedroom window. I have some nest killing powder, a ladder and an incontrollable, irrational phobia. But I’ve had an unusual, mid-week large whisky and I have some protective clothing. I’m going in. Wish me luck.

It’s very difficult to get supermarket pizza right. I usually avoid it, but thought I’d treat myself today. So I’d just like to compliment #Tesco on their exemplary use of Bland. To witness their corporate chefs use Bland with such precision and abandon is a lesson to all aspiring cooks.

So Ulster supporters on here. What are you thinking the club should do. Go all out at home against Glasgow to secure top 8, but risk top players. Or rest some of your best against Glasgow to try for silverware in Europe and get a Champions Cup place anyway. An interesting conundrum you have.

Hey folks. Question for anyone who has needed to get a US visa recently. Close friends’ daughter has a place for Camp America and has just been to London to arrange a Visa. The application came back as ‘denied’ but they’ve taken her passport and want to check her social media. Is this ‘normal’?

Let’s be clear. Every Edinburgh try was a result of either Leinster mistakes (intercepts) or individual brilliance (Darcy Graham!). Not a single try was scored because of guile, deceit or cleverness in the Edinburgh attack. Their weakness in attack is only surpassed by their weakness in defence.

Been listening to some ‘reaction’ pods from the weekend and reading some of the English post-match articles today. The one conclusion I’ve drawn is that the majority of their Journos and podcasters (and possibly the team and coaches) watch very little URC. Prove me wrong.
