I don't think I ever expressed how much I despise Jony Ive. He was a hardware designer with one trick: steal a product design from the 1960s, round the corners off and call it his own. We’re stuck in a world of uninspired corporate design because he once got his bland all over a trendy product line.

Finally saw Coyote vs Acme, and it is as good as everyone says. That a giant corporation led by a moneygrubbing asshole tried to bury the film to prevent anyone seeing it just adds to its message, IMHO. See it if you haven’t. If you already have, see it again and take a fried or two who hasn’t.

So … I have discovered that my iphone can be switched to “low power” mode manually under battery settings, during which it still appears to function as normal but the battery lasts a lot longer. And I'm like, high-power waste my battery mode? If it works without it, why even have that?
