Schools came late in human history & childhood mortality was so commonplace that it’s not surprising neurodivergence wasn’t recognised. 000

Years later as community paediatrician I realised there were more kids ?ASD than we could refer to tertiary services & no local CAHMS. Clinic was born, then for ADHD. 100
