It was just two years ago I found out ILM used a ton of these bone white tie fighters toys in a lot of their B.G. shots and long panned fighting scenes in, I think, Return of the Jedi.

They had this model in Spain in the 80s, but I didn’t pick it up cuz I was a detailist snub as a tween, it seems (“white?, there were no white tie fighters in the movie, pshaw and begone!”).

This thing with these types of glasses suckz; Since I was a kid I carried a camera, but kept missing great shots, then ->Spider Jerusalem<-, and I wished for something like it, *poof*, camera glasses came out (yay!), but sex pervs declare it a tool for their inappropriate kid+JB tweens/teens photos😤

That is the secret: Everytime I went on leave to Europe while on the Navy, or visited back when I moved to CONUS, I would eat European food like it was going out of style,… but I would lose 5-10lbs cuz (A) healthier food (especially in coastal areas), and (B) you can walk everywhere to everything

You can still find those machines in old small towns near the Med. Still got my European grandpa’s old Cinzano ashtray (similar like this photo) he used when smoking his cheap Gauloises; although nasty, the smell of cigs always lift my spirits🤷🏻‍♂️

Europe still got that kick. Last time I landed at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, the first smell that I encountered when they opened the door cabin was that of cigarettes (not jet fuel, brake pads, or any other pungent mechanical odor). Inside the terminal was that of it mixed with those of fresh pastries
