As a rural user trying to make a 2027 choice i'm seeing increased premiums, deductibles and copays in Advantage and decreased benefits, providers, and available plans. The only Advantage seen over original Medicare is coverage for hospitalization. Oz is a con man like the rest of this administration

Rebellion against the crown began well before the declaration of independence. So 50 yrs before Britain's abolition is a better number. Still, Britain continued to make heavy cash from American slavery right up to 1865. Overturning Roe took about 50 years, but I don't see the comparison.

My comment here was countering the notion that the American Revolution was a reaction against Britains abolition of slavery. As you confirm, that abolition was much later. You say our civil war was fought to keep slavery? There were two sides in that war.

Cool story, but it was Britain that instituted slavery in its american colonies in the first place. Mansfield's decision only prevented slaves in Britain from being removed from Britain, and the Slavery Abolition Act wasn't passed until 1833. The sins of the US did not have a virgin birth.
