When something has multiple meanings for different people, having a party motion to declare "this thing = that thing" is going to make total sense for some people and be totally senseless to others. If you want to unite hundreds of thousands of members, it's unbelievably careless.

If you have a wide range of people, they'll come from different viewpoints, see things in different ways, terms will have different meanings. Careless prescriptiveness is divisive

The problem with AI is not that it can "go rogue", it's the people who use it. It attracts, fascinates and amplifies people who want to dehumanise others. It shields them from consequence and reflection. It facilitates the evil they choose to inflict. Don't look at the thing. It's the people.
