If I were leader of the EU Unified street building code. Only 3 categories where cars are allowed. 1. Streets 30km/h speed limit. Only residential or commercial traffic allowed. No car commuting. Bikes have priority 2. Roads 50km/h+ speed limit. Separated bike paths & sidewalk 3. Highways

👎 Bike path suddenly disappears in #Hamburg, Germany Newly built in 2025 yet still built wrong. Why always the same mistakes? EU cities needs unified street designs that ensure consistency such as CROW Street Design Guidelines in the Netherlands

This is wrong in #Hamburg, Germany Bike path should go over the driveway, not vice versa. Instead, here, car driveway goes 'over' the bike path. - Bumpier ride for cyclists - Incentivises cars Side walks are not for cars!

1) #urgently Citizen reporting apps needed in Europe!!! Report law breakers and get a part of the fine fee as reward. 2) Cigarette buts should have a deposit of 10cents each 20 minutes in #Hamburg, Germany yielded ~153 butts = 153,000L of contaminated water = 3 swimming pools of poison

Half the sidewalk hogged by parked car. Forget walking side by side with my child. Instead I'll crab walk sideways with my neck twisted.. If you own a car in a European city, you need to have somewhere on your property to park it!

Hey #Hamburg When it snows, bike paths need to cleared too. This is a dangerous and uncomfortable icy sidewalk this disincentives biking!

A #EU vice: Preserving things that were rather than rebuilding better. This tree in #Hamburg is the perfect metaphor. Its time for this 'sick' tree to be cut down and a new one planted. Europe: get rid of outdated ways of doing and choose new common sense ones!

I have noticed a change in the last 5 years in #Hamburg and other German cities. Once famously clean Germany is become trash laden. Multiple firsthand experiences of North African and Middle Eastern immigrants throwing trash in broad public on the ground. Stop this madness!

How is it here in #Hamburg we can no longer walk on side walks anymore because it has become a car parking!? Hamburg and other European cities need a Garage Certificate Law like in Japan: You can only own a car if you have a valid parking place to keep it. Stop subsidising cars!

What people are not realising: This tip of the iceberg is a watershed moment. There is no going back to the world we grew up with and know. Maybe the world will normalise somewhat but we are in a new age. For Europeans (EU citizens) - Unify - Be strong (military) - Be smart (Drones not tanks)

Parking minimums are the strange, out-dated, and unscientific law that's probably languishing in your city's zoning code. They sound dull (and they are) but they're incredibly important because they have dramatically shaped our cities in a detrimental manner www.strongtowns.org/journal/2018...

The cost of cleaning up toxic forever chemical pollution (i.e., PFAS) could reach more than £1.6 trillion across the UK and Europe over a 20-year period, an annual bill of £84 billion. That’s way less than what CO₂ removal (CDR) would cost. If we’re not cleaning up PFAS, we’re not doing CDR.

Exclusive: Costs of UK cleanup will reach £9.9bn a year in UK if emissions of ‘forever chemicals’ remain uncontrolled

An integrated mobility strategy is needed to implement an effective cycling policy. The ABC zoning principle, introduced by Goudappel in Utrecht's Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan, has been successfully applied in mobility plans across the Netherlands and internationally. dutchcycling.nl/know...
ABC zoning, three levels of environment. The A zone is where cyclists and pedestrians are the most important users of the public space, in the urbanized B zone there is an attractive balance and mix between the modes, and in the C zone the different structures for cars, bicycles, and public transport are separated.

The rise of the religious Jewish state as opposed to the largely secular Jewish state founded in 1948 is a threat to the property secular Jews have built. Especially traditional Christian, Islamic and Jewish religion are some of the most backward dogmas and not fit to rule prosperously.

A typical European car spends 1/5th of its driving time looking for parking. Its 5 seats only move 1.5 people, and it’s been getting bigger & heavier. 86% of its fuel never reaches the wheels, and most of the energy that does is needed to move the car itself, not the people in it. Sound efficient?
