Color Jam (I got a review copy from @lunarpunk.games) is live on Kickstarter now and I got some glitter markers for my kids bday party so I decided to try a page with those markers! Some were already running out (after being used by kids) but they were really pretty when they worked well!

Last night we played Gulo Gulo (review copy from @pandasaurusgames.com) with only adults! It was super intense! At one point we only had ~10 eggs left in the nest before the alarm fell! This was my first time playing without kids and it was a lot more serious 😆

I got a review copy of Doomensions: Mystery Manor from @mysteriouspackage.bsky.social and I’ve played a couple sections so far. They have a couple new games up on Kickstarter now! The pop-up gimmick is neat, although there’s too many counting puzzles for me. But the theming and story is great!

Finally convinced one of my kids to play Sancastles with me (review copy from @pandasaurusgames.com)! He had fun and then decided to use all the tiles in the game to build his own huge sand castle.

The tiles from the game Sandcastles all put together into a big sandcastle with a bunch of doors, five towers, and balconies. Each tile is a square with sand and different features (windows, starfish, buckets, sky).

Got the upgrade pack for Jisogi: Anime Studio Tycoon a couple days ago so we played it tonight! I like the new rules better but I still don’t like how the network cards can take away the first player marker. I had a small hardworking studio and never managed to completely get out of debt!

Color Jam (review copy from @lunarpunk.games ) is way more of a hit than I expected it to be! I played it with my 6yo kid the other day and today he wanted to play it with my husband and is teaching him! He hasn’t been enjoying many typical board games recently so this is the perfect game for him!

I got a PnP review copy of Color Jam from @lunarpunk.games and tried it out today. Started solo but then one of my kids came and wanted to help me color, and by the end he was helping me choose the colors based on the numbers! We managed to get the picture almost how we wanted!

Finished game of Color Jam - a coloring page that looks like a paint by number type thing, colored in with 6 different colors - yellow, red, purple (the pencil looks blue and I thought it was blue until I colored my first section), green, pink, and brown.
