I love that my kids love dressing up so much that they plan out their own Halloween costumes and ask for the things they need (props and costumes) for their bday in September. Makes October a lot less busy for me since I don’t need to worry as much about making their costumes then.

I got paid for some work for He Who Watches, but before that I had played the demo and really liked it! And if you’re worried about getting sick from first person games like me, there are a lot of settings that help with that, so I didn’t get sick with the demo at all!

My 6yo kids’ only exposure to Pokémon is Pokopia, where they all live in harmony and they know “Team R” were bad people who stole Pokémon. Today my husband was explaining the original Pokémon games to them, where you capture Pokémon and have them fight. My kid’s response: “so wait, are we Team R?”

@613mandi.bsky.social I had similar thoughts to you on switch 2 but I recently bought one! They have a bundle where you can get it and a game (Mario kart world, donkey Kong bonanza, or pokopia). I figured that bundle was worth it since I wanted to play pokopia anyway.

I just went to the National Museum of Taiwan History and they had a special board game exhibit this month! I took 29 pictures of different games (hoping to make a video when I get back), but here’s one in the western games section of Monopoly!
