Here's what I think about when I think back on 9/11. The attack happened on the watch of a Republican president who had been warned, repeatedly & explicitly, that an attack was coming. He dismissed those warnings.

Data center debate is insightful. It’s uniting people across the partisan divide, but it’s because no one trusts big tech or our government. The core issues could be resolved through power and environmental regulation (water and noise). Government sets compliance criteria and corporations complies.

Ed Zitron is right about the financial and business side of AI. OTOH, my direct experience with AI for software development since Q1 2026 seems he is very wrong about the productivity gains of AI.

The so-called president of the United States is a massive money launderer and cut off by the bank that discovered it. Yet the story barely registers with the legacy media. What a disgrace.

I think it’s a matter of personal honor. Do the right thing, because it’s the right thing to do. Senators: stop doing weird political power math and have some self respect. Stop enabling pedophiles. The results may be “equivalent” but your integrity and principles are in tact.

This is why people hate politics. Too many politicians are self serving cowards who are too afraid to do the right thing until they have nothing left to lose. Just do the right thing and keep your dignity. It’s ok to not get reelected.

A total of 112 gigawatts of batteries were deployed around the world in 2025 — 10 times the amount added just four years prior.

Spain just became one of Europe's cheapest power markets. Here is how.
How wind and solar quietly pushed gas off the margin, and the wholesale price followed.
