I'm late to the party but the Hollywood Sign was lit up a few nights ago to advertise the new Fast & Furious roller coaster. Universal used projection mapping to illuminate imagery from the Fast franchise. Word is the plan was kept kinda quiet beforehand to avoid sign intruders.
