It's officially impossible to dress well when you're short. Tried on 20 items in M&S, adored most of them, bought none because either I needed a different size that wasn't in stock or the sleeves hung down past my knees. That's my shopping time spent up for the next 3 months so I guess that's that

Why though? It's not like the eps make a continuous story you have to listen to in order. Every other pod goes automatically to the latest ep so people are going to assume that the first ep in the series IS the latest ep, and therefore not listen to the others since they don't know they exist 🤷🏻

You can, after the first request when she plays the wrong episode, then ask her again but ask for the "latest episode of Uncanny" this time and she will. For some reason you can't just do that the first time. It drives me nuts.

Yes!! Alexa insists on playing me the Halloween episode 90% of the time and a random episode the rest of the time. I have found that if I follow up with "ask BBC Sounds to play the latest episode of Uncanny" she will find it then.

We've often joked that the Uncanny Community is a cult, but never a church! That said, I definitely fall into that group of avowed atheists who nevertheless maintain a sense of curiosity about the world and what may lie beyond it.
