So I knooow pinterest is a lost cause, but I just learned that it's now possible to uncheck the generated slop in your settings there. And you might even start getting some good old real things after doing so. It doesn't clean it all completely though.

It's in account >settings>scroll to the very right until you reach gen interests>uncheck all of them, and refresh

adhd memory is when you'll switch the order of numbers in a date/price amount you've just seen a moment ago but will memorise the most random letter number symbol combination in a wifi name/password you used one day years ago for absolutely no reason

i know it's a very obvious fact for any artist but the pure fucking unfiltered joy i felt today when my brain finally comprehended the CONCEPT OF FANART after years of simply copying references & real still life. literal epiphany.

GenAI has polluted image search results, especially for animal pics. It’s now basically impossible to find accurate art references. Enter this: a repository of open-access, AI-free images of wild & exotic taxa. Artists creating *without AI* have blanket permission for derivative/transformative use.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of the amazing actress, Joan Plowright, who brought poor, troubled Aunt Lucinda to life in the 2008 film adaptation of "The Spiderwick Chronicles". May the fairies lead you to your next adventure, Joan. Godspeed.✨

For anyone who uses Google Suite/Gmail and wants to turn off their fuckin annoying Gemini AI program that harvests your data and reads your emails ("to better assist you!") just go into your admin console and switch it off.

"Girls are caterpillars while they live in the world, to be finally butterflies when the summer comes; but in the meantime there are grubs and larvae, don't you see - each with their peculiar propensities, necessities and structure." - excerpt from 'Carmilla' by Sheridan Le Fanu

digital illustration by Abigail Larson depicting a hand with a lace web pattern glove. The hand has sharp fingernails dripping a tiny amount of blood. A black butterfly is perched on the hand.

Ah! "Art should be available to everyone", so the admission to the "museum" is now gonna be free right? I need to ask, if they disrespect Muchas work so much, why even pretend they are preserving anything? Ghoulish behaviour🙂

have lots of questions for people who do "low/no spend challenges" bc i've just read a few posts with RULES they set & it's literally "if i don't need it/already have one, i won't buy it". so you were buying just to buy this whole time? just casually had 999 of the same item that serves no purpose??

But what am I talking about. It would be Pikachu face. Like it always with russian atrocities. Always late reaction. #UaView
