So I’ve been talking to this girl for less than a week, but over the past 5 days, we’ve talked in vc for literally 40 cumulative hours (anywhere from 5-11.5 hours per day), none of which counts time spent in dms. And that’s like, active, engaging conversations too, so they never *feel* 8 hours long.

Made a new friend 2 days ago, and we’ve talked on vc for 17 of the last 36 hours. I now know her entire dating and medical history and the lore of her dnd campaign. Apparently I have a “soothing voice”, and she’s complimented my hands (her words were “I’d be into your hands…”). So that’s pretty neat

Well gang, I have finally made it through the *required* reading for my computer architecture course. Holy fuck. It’s been honestly an incredibly interesting class, and I seriously wish I had more time to actually read the full textbook, but I only have til the end of the month to pass the class 😭

Sometimes, I’ll go for a walk, put on my noise cancelling earbuds, unfocus my eyes, and just lose touch with all external stimuli. Just disassociate, loose myself in my thoughts, and let my feet take me where I’m supposed to go. Makes the walk to McDonald’s feel surprisingly shorter

So Saturn has been fucking with me for ~13 years (came into conjunction with my moon in Nov 2012 and left a year later, late 2014 through most of 2015 conjuncted my Pluto, then in 2017 started its long trek through my Capricorn stellium, Aquarius stellium, and *then* my Pisces Saturn return…)…

Like you get absorbed in an idea, a potential life path, and then you take a step back to think, and you’re like “…do I actually want that though?” And so you start weighing everything and hyper analyzing, and you end up at “maybe I don’t after all”

Easy answer, the Data Over Dogma podcast with Dr. Dan McClellan and Dan Beecher. The academic study of the Bible is right in my area of interest, and I love the way they’re able to dive into some fascinating ideas and explanations for the biblical text, while remaining in the realm of scholarship
