Still got this one, not that I thought I wouldn't pass the renewal 1st time. Lost the Azure Administrator, Developer & Solutions Architect by forgetting that they needed renewed in time, not that bothers me having not done Azure work lately. Maybe I'll sit them/replacements in the future.

An important part from the @vscode.dev Documentary about #PowerShell being the alpha dogfooder of the LSP (Language Server Protocol) This is an awesome watch (start at 49:15 for this scene) Definitely worth every minute so far www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHL3...

Apologies - the Header has the GitHub Icon in it that links to the repo but that isn't visible on a mobile browser from what I can tell. I would suggest adding a section like the many sites like docs pages hosted and published on GitHub have for improving them like this

Closely followed by the #PowerShell team's bot being asked to sign the CLA (Contributor License Agreement) This is funny as bot's themselves cannot sign an agreement, even if they can respond to a comment like this, even if said bot is "employed" by a Company like Microsoft This needs another 1/x
The picture shows the microsoft-github-policy-service auto bot commenting in a GitHub PR

@powershell-pr-automation[bot] please read the following Contributor License Agreement(CLA). If you agree with the CLA, please reply with the following information.

In today's funny #PowerShell related things I found whilst looking at PR's in the main repo This comment from @sdwheeler.bsky.social about the PowerShell team's automation bot (not Claude or copilot etc) being thanked in the changelogs. I'm on the fence about this "highly controversial topic"
Comment by Sean about thanking the PowerShell Teams Bot in the Changelog.
With a follow up comment from Justin about adding this to their tooling exception list

Definitely a worthwhile few hours digging in to what is needed with adding the -minprofile (or it's full name, minprofilescriptpath) parameter to a local test build of the pwsh executable. By using it, internally it implies that you want both -noprofile & -noexit to run

Hey @discord.com what's the point in Requesting a manual review (under 64551722) to just close the request via what looks to be an automated response. Especially as I recommended the use of a tried and tested UK Government service & one that does not share an image file either. Do better!

I think this section sums up the mood of most users of #Windows especially as I expect as high as 75-90%+ of users out there aren't even close to being "PowerUsers", Developers or Administrators & even those in those groups likely don't use/know many of the decade+ old features Windows has today.
Text that says

"
Indeed, people feel like AI is not the answer to Windows' current problems. Microsoft should be focused on getting the basics right before it tries to implement AI features and capabilities throughout the OS.

The last few years have seen Microsoft go AI crazy, to the point where it's cutting budgets across the company in an effort to fund more AI projects and infrastructure. Xbox has seen massive cuts, as has Surface. Everything Microsoft makes feels worse right now because the company is too busy chasing the AI bubble. To Microsoft, if it's not AI, it's not important.

Unfortunately, based on how Microsoft has treated its customers and products over the last decade, the company is now facing an uphill battle when it comes to onboarding people into its own AI ecosystem. It seems not many people want to use Copilot, or OneDrive, or a Microsoft account, after the company has repeatedly let its customers down by cancelling products and features.

I dunno why @github.com Coplilot cannot re-read an issue that has been updated like in this below image but this really really slows down it's ability to do any work like this addition to the hugo theme that I'm extending for mroe accessibility and functionality github.com/kilasuit/hug...

Hey @merill.net sorry for the direct ping This blank Entra ID login box on #FireFox browsers that i've been getting for months now (with Multi-Account Containers extension) seems to be due to a Content Security Policy (I think) I have console logs if that would help with a fix at all..?

Look at what I found (reminds me of the other social site) at @skircle.bsky.social (skircle.me) @mrpowershell.com / @jdhitsolutions.com I think this would be an interesting project to build some additonal automation around this and further BlueSky Automation (like pic AltText) what's your thoughts?

The continued usefulness of this from 2016 @psconf.eu is just amazing. For 2026 would be great for them again with a duel USB-A & USB-C adaptor. #PSConfEu

and this is a great example of how to do it from the pandoc.org/try/ page
image shows the try pandoc try me page that is a user driven learning path that allows for an interactive way to learn how pandoc can be used

It is showing how to convert a markdown file to html using the following command line `pandoc --from markdown --to html --standalone --wrap=preserve --highlight-style=kate`

There is lots of text and code blocks in the markdown file and it shows this to you on one side and in html on the other

This may seem like a bigish tour of the country, but all these are accessible easily enough using a mix of trains, coaches, buses & taxi's or driving isn't too bad. You'd get to see some great views along this journey too & you could do this in 7-10 days easy with overnights on the journey

Not sure to be proud of my this load time of my minimal #PowerShell Profile or be scared I've been wondering what the difference may be and thanks to @posh.guru for sharing the Benchmarking gist the other day & @jakubjares.com for building the Profiler module now I know.
This is from a powershell window testing the loading time of a minimal PowerShell Profile using the Profiler Module

The text reads

✅ BENCHMARKING PROFILE COMPLETE. Results saved to $profileTrace (which is in purple)
⏱️ PROFILE LOAD TIME: 666ms (which is in green)This is from a powershell window testing the loading time of a more featured PowerShell Profile using the Profiler Module

The text reads

✅ BENCHMARKING PROFILE COMPLETE. Results saved to $profileTrace (which is in purple)
⏱️ PROFILE LOAD TIME: 9735ms (which is in green)

Neat #Git tip If you ever want to commit just a few lines in a file at a time that you've been working on then you can do either `git add -p ` or in vscode highlight the lines and and run the Git: Stage Selected Range
This image shows the VSCode Command Pallete with the text Git selected typed in
It shows the following 2 results
Git: Revert Selected Ranges (Ctrl + K, Ctrl + R)
Git: Stage Selected Ranges (Ctrl + K, Ctrl + Alt + S )

Hey #PowerShell & #WinGet people Does WinGet show you this when trying to upgrade/install a package like PowerShell? Here's my writeup on how to fix this (expanding on @samerde.day3bits.com comments) github.com/PowerShell/P... Hope this helps you!
Image shows text
