same with the AI flag in the video itself, ESPECIALLY for music

I wish all AI generated thumbnails a very "Don't recommend channel"

I tasted a forbidden fruit, that being GeForce Now, as a means to play the modern Call of Duty games (another forbidden fruit) on my Mac and my RHEL install. The fact that it worked really well, and was responsive on WiFi of all things makes me horrified for the future of gaming.

#mayaartists #rigging #blender how important are IK and FK switches to artists? Back in my Blender 2.5 days, I had no idea that IK and FK switches were a thing and I just made rigs with IK only, and I do the same in Maya. Really thinking I should learn to use them, even if they are harder to make.

I think eventually I will have to cough up some dough to get an internal blu ray drive and a case with a 5.25 bay for my next pc build as this may be my last chance to get an optical drive for a future pc. Damn it I still use physical media. DVDs, blu rays and CDs for life.

I hate being a negative Nelly or raining on parades, but I just get ick vibes from anything Skydance Animation. Brad Bird should know better than to associate himself with a billionaire olograrch and someone who doesn’t know when to NOT hug someone.

What is that type of cut in movies where someone says something and there is a cut where a character replies to what the other said? Like in Fantastic Mr Fox, “we took everything!” cut “they took everything?” I love these and I don’t know the name for it.

Is there a way to automount an XFS drive in WSL? Do I have to mount the drive as admin in Powershell every time? I like how I can mount my ntfs drive on RHEL incase I need to share files between my OSes but for some reason there is no foss driver for XFS.

I am very jazzed by the iPhone Duo. I may actually want to try an emulator on it given its squared aspect ratio. DS emulation may be really really cool on it!

With the amount of people putting videos and such at 1.25x speed, I wonder if they are that much better at paying attention or it really is smaller attention span I am doing a training video series for work and I have to put it at .75x speed to get all the information, maybe i am just different lol

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 with KDE 5.27, with the CachyOS Kernel running a Windows 10 LTSC VM for Zbrush and a handful of apps. This was an adventure to setup, but it is worth it so far :)

So the COD beta said I needed to update my bios on my motherboard which I never had to do for a long long time. After doing so, it wiped my secure boot keys, and made Linux unbootable with secure boot on. That and the power button on my PC case does not work anymore. What a day ;-;

Criterion's K-POP DEMON HUNTERS release is targeting a generation just discovering the wonders of collecting physical media at a time when physical media companies need it most, while also introducing their catalogue to young movie lovers. This is a genius move. Get the kids into Criterion!

Windows 11 on my desktop feels hostile and strange to me compared to my Linux install, but for some reason, Windows 11 on my work computer where I just do calls and answer emails feels snappy and nice. No Notifications every 20 seconds, and no bloat. I would rather they use RHEL at work tho lol
