oh, huh. i didn't know that the casualty counter in slitterhead is actually activated from the very start of the game, meaning if you play carefully and prevent casualties from the outset, you won't have to replay missions to get the true ending

this year has been very... strange for me. i think it's been good, in that i identified i have ptsd and was psychologically torturing myself for about 20 years and am now doing my best to correct that. but it's like a bomb went off in my brain, and now i'm realizing my growing years were wasted...

ya know now i am thinking about how alexander's quest is probably meant to reflect radahn's lore a bit started out too soft, took on too great a challenge (alexander couldn't beat radahn; radahn couldn't beat morgott) alexander sought fire to temper himself; radahn sought greater, uh, gravity

I know I'm like the #1 Slitterhead fan this side of the Milky Way, but it's a perfect game for October spoopies (without being strictly horror). It even takes place around/on Halloween! Pair it with its spiritual predecessor, Siren, for the full cult horror spectrum, lol.

A few months ago I got to design the staff t-shirt for The Hobbit x MTG! I relished painting some of the pivotal characters and elements of the story. The stylization is inspired by Tolkien's own paintings, and I wanted it to look as though Bilbo had drawn these things in his book.
