I’m not convinced this is a wise announcement at a time the best brains in New Zealand politics are thinking about how they can deal with rapacious supermarkets. At the very least it won’t help their PR whitewashing. www.rnz.co.nz/news/busines...

One thing to think about with polls and the forthcoming election: There is a strong positive correlation between the electorates where the Green Party vote is high and where the ACT Party vote is high.

Nothing says “AI bubble” like the industry’s biggest player opposing the caution that others agree on in the interests of, er, human survival.

Whenever a politician uses the term "hardworking Kiwis" you know something dodgy is coming. On a similar note, "mum and dad investors" appears to be code for "rich people".

Today's lunch was what, in 1970s England, would have been called a Ploughman's Lunch. Despite appearances, it is not something traditional and rustic but was dreamed up by marketing people as a way of selling more cheese.

I've learnt over the years is that if you can isolate and define the problem you're trying to solve clearly enough, it's a lot easier to find the answer. Sometimes it IS the answer. This is what you do when you write an AI prompt. If you write a good enough prompt you may already have the answer.
