Nice to see UConn hasn't figured out a more efficient system for parking at their stadium in the last 20 years.

Benetti and RGIII might be the closest announcers to the "Dodgeball" pairing of Cotton McKnight and Pepper Brooks that I've seen in a while.

GOP Sen. Thom Tillis privately tore into Trump in texts obtained by Politico:
Graphic featuring Donald Trump on the left and Republican Sen. Thom Tillis on the right, with two large iMessage-style text bubbles attributed to Tillis overlaid across the bottom. In the first message, Tillis tells Trump that Trump “NEVER” threatened him with a primary challenge, says Trump may have him confused with other Republicans he has threatened, and adds that if Trump had threatened him directly, he would have told him to “fck yourself” and immediately announced his retirement. He ends, “Save those threats and head games for cowards and fools.” In the second message, Tillis writes, “I still want to help but I don’t take this bullsht from anyone, including you Mr. President,” adding, “Save that sh*t for the cowards who don’t care if you fail. I care if you fail and right now we are failing.”

Tons of people get DUI/OUIs and it rarely costs someone their job. So I feel for Romo here a bit. Seems like they were just looking for an excuse to dump him.

The problem isn’t that they’re moving past it—it’s that they’re trying to rehabilitate it. Would be better for everyone if people who don’t want to engage with the facts just talked about the play on the field and left it at that.

Pretty clear to me there’s a very good case against this man for mass murder, and I’m saying that in as measured a fashion as I can. He’s order the killing of 234 people under no plausible war or legal justification. I am skeptical he will ever face legal accountability for til his but he should.

Even more vividly, Republicans are outspending Democrats in both #OHSen & #NCSen, but Democrats are nonetheless airing *more* ads. Why? Because, by law, candidates pay the cheapest ad rates, while super PACs pay market rates—and GOP spending is heavily reliant on super PACs.

New graphics from AdImpact vividly illustrate something we've emphasized repeatedly: The GOP's massive spending advantage is *not* translating into a comparable *advertising* advantage. In #TXSen, e.g., the GOP has spent 66% of all ad money but aired just 54% of all ads adimpact.com/blogs/republ...

“This is dumb, dumb, dumb beyond belief,” one former Trump campaign official told CNN in response to the ads the White House is now airing. “These guys are all gonna get subpoenaed. It’s gonna be bad." You had better believe it. 🔥

Of course the primary reason why CNN and MS NOW are running the illegal taxpayer-funded Trump campaign ads is because they are afraid of the Trump Admin coming after them if they refuse. The path of least resistance is compliance caused by fear and intimidation.

It's another example of their belief in dictatorship. That the government is theirs, not the people's. Whether they've implemented it yet is not the point. They believe the government is for a small cadre of people representing a small socioeconomic (and racial) part of our country.
