All good! But also this is interesting. I'd not heard of acoustID but not I want to build some version of it into Unstream, which specifically focuses on open/direct-support platforms as the destination - this might even be thing that makes a native mobile app worth pursuing

Whoa this I did not see coming, especially after the layoff news: @bandcamp implemented the subsonic API so you can take your Bandcamp collection to open-source media players & infrastructure. I just set it up in seconds Honestly pretty cool, curious what this means for them

I’m not sure why Mirlo isn’t appearing, I’ll look into that For Subvert, there’s no api for me to hook into yet, so the options are to add your subvert profile to Musicbrainz or claim your results on Unstream itself and add the links there (both are quick, and will also cover Mirlo too!)

Finally got cross-client login & sync working for Unstream! What this means: - anyone can create a user account on Unstream, not just artists - you can save artists you want to support on the web app, and those sync to your mac app / browser extension / other devices (1/2)

It seems that Bandcamp has changed something on their end which is blocking Bandcamp artist pages from showing in Unstream’s search results (unless you’ve verified your page or have data listed in the Musicbrainz database). I’m investigating some options to resolve this. Stay tuned.

At the simplest, it makes for a free linktree alternative focused on the best places to directly support you as an artist, which in turn is integrated into Unstream search/app/extensions. Plus a lot of bigger things can start to form around this foundation, and that has me very excited
