I went to two weddings recently and I just gotta say- I was so delighted that when the officiant said to put away the phones, EVERYONE did. And no one posted photos until the wedding couple did. It has been the most impressive adherence to the equivalent of a press embargo ever.

Easy- I have yelled about this. I am 5'9" (175cm) but I have very small hands (like my mom is 5'3", 160cm, and we have the same sized hands and feet) I love my wireless nano controller and my hands don't get fatigued and sore when I use it. I simply do not play if I have to use a normal controller.

After the Cabo Verde v Spain game, I ordered my yellow Vozinha jersey from Capelli Sport. It was the wildest game I had ever witnessed until the Cabo Verde v Argentina game. I can count on one hand the athletes who make me feel like crying (in joy) when I watch them. I got my jersey yesterday <3

This is a wild thing to say... but I cannot recall a single Theme Sale on steam that I have been able to appeal Night in the Woods into... Because it crosses *too many genres* it gets rejected from everything we attempt to put it into. I didn't realize this fully until yesterday.

Spanish place in NYC in 2007ish. Had maybe 5 tables and my sister, Adam and I just walked in and got one. Found out the place was usually booked out like *months* in advance. I don't even remember its name but my sister was able to get a table there once in the years after. Closed in covid I think?

I remember a few years ago everything felt impossible- small stuff, big stuff. None of it was hard. It was just impossible. Laundry for me is this person's dishes. I remember when I gave myself permission to not freak out (or freeze up) when I had to wash loads of laundry twice.

OH. 😅 here's my nerdy one. In middle school (1993ish) we had to take computer class but it was like DOS times? Anyways- Mr Rains told us to go find where he hid all of the games by navigating through the directories- if we found them, we could play them. I... uh... mapped THE WHOLE SYSTEM.

I am an old millennial and my one living parent is 75- and like a lot of people in the US, I do not live anywhere near this parent. They are in California, I am in Michigan. They recently had emergency surgery for acute appendicitis and this is my frustration post about having aging parents:

I am missing my kids first day of school again this year because of games. And their whole first week of school. I missed every labor day holiday for years because of games. I stop work everyday by 2:45 during the school year so I can go pick them up from school. I have to work in the evenings.

You want to know what never happened in Michigan until like 5-7 years ago? Wildfire smoke from Canada (and the west). Now it is Every. Single. Summer. These places burn and smoke flows in from an absurd distance. The smoke is at the bridge and should be in GR by this afternoon.

My sister is corporate bankruptcy lawyer/expert. 💀 My brothers are a retail store manager, a MBA who studied lean management and works in manufacturing, a landscape designer specializing in aquascapes, and a regional union rep for the california teachers union. I'd be SO bad at all of these.
