I told Joe I was the one who made this stupid Girl with the Pearl Earring piece and he told me it’s in his living room. Took a picture with me to send to his wife 😆

Live entertainment brings so much life to the parks! I haven’t seen a barrel on a clarinet quite like that one.

I really wanted to come, mainly so I could finally meet Brock in person! I’ve had a lot of travel this month and just couldn’t make another trip work. I hope you’re all having a great time!

One of my kids dressed as Brunel for Halloween years ago! He handed out little business cards explaining who he was. 😁❤️

One of the nation’s most distinctive 9/11 memorial events takes place every five years in Georgia. At Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, almost 3,000 flags are placed in the front field – one for every victim of 9/11.

I saw a meme today that said that books are proof that strangers can meet across centuries and still understand each other. That really resonated.

More Jeff vintage...This Walt Disney World Resort guide is great in that it has the Fort Wilderness Railroad on the cover and inside, as well as favorite locations I went to as a kid like Fiesta Fun Center at the Contemporary and the Polynesian Luau. #waltdisneyworld #vintagedisney #fortwilderness

I don't need to know why this recipe means so much to you. I just need to know if it's 350 or 375.

I didn’t realize until the 2023 RetroMagic event how tall Dave is, but someone pointed out that every time we saw him on TV, he was sitting at the console. Fair point!

I tend to go to the collections and just browse from there. The home screen isn’t useful for me unless I’m trying to continue watching something I’d already started.

We were just talking about Wings last night! We saw it last year at a local theater that regularly shows silent films with a theatre organ accompanist. This is a great film! It’s long, but the pacing is very good.

I can see the 3D effect! I take stereo photos occasionally, and I’ve gotten pretty good at viewing them without any sort of device. I just relax my eyes, like we used to do with those Magic Eye books.

Just got back from a trip to Alaska, where I purchased possibly my favorite souvenir of all time: the Bottercelli
Art print of a parody of Botticelli's The Birth Of Venus, but the people are otters. Otter Venus stands in a shell, covering herself with paws and a strand of kelp. Otter Zephyrus and Aura with wings and cloaks float at her side.

The Lucin Cutoff, shown here, was built by the Southern Pacific Railroad from 1902 to 1904. By building tracks over the Great Salt Lake in Utah, the railroad was able to save over forty miles of track.

100 years ago today, Buster Keaton filmed the most expensive stunt in the history of the silent film era, collapsing a bridge and crashing a train into the river for his film The General. petapixel.com/2025/11/20/t...

Thanks! I love these bright colors, but I was thinking of the dandelion lights that were on the exterior portion of the track. I think they were spiky in the 1950s, then smooth for a period of time, but I don’t think they’re there anymore at all.

I donate every pay cycle to Undue Medical Debt, and it’s the best money I spend each month. It’s amazing to see how they can use even modest donations to wipe out large amounts of debt. I know that it doesn’t fix the underlying systemic problems, but it at least gives people relief in the interim.
