Body: I am researching the attrition of the UK trans population. Attrition refers to whatever is reducing the number of trans people, which includes involuntary detransition/desistance, and death. My research extends to the whole of British Territories. I would like to interview:
People who work with trans people, providing social services or other forms of support such as counselling, advocacy, or social groups. This includes over 50's and youth groups, as well as people outside of London.
Community organisers who organise with trans people, including community groups, harm reduction, social groups, and mutual aid.
People who have been bereaved by the passing of a trans person in their life who feel comfortable talking about this experience.
People who have known someone who detransitioned involuntarily or against their wishes, or who desisted in transitioning due to barriers.
People who lost contact with a trans person they knew and are uncertain of what may have happened to them.
I am investigating the attrition (or gradual wearing away/down) of the United Kingdoms trans population, either through death or through involuntary detransition/desistance. Attrition includes people who have died, passing away due to various causes external or natural, as well as people you may have known who have detransitioned or desisted from living as trans for reasons in part or whole involuntarily.
I am a researcher at the University of Westminster, and this is part of my PhD project. I will make my research findings available to participants in an accessible format. It is my hope that this research will help identify where interventions are most necessary and where oversight exists. This may prompt further awareness and research, but also community and third sector projects aimed at tackling these gaps. At the least, we will know more about

"Dear Trans Advocacy & Complaints Collective, Transparent Action, and
TransLucent
Thank you for your complaint about the Court's new exhibition. I understand
your concern to be that the presentation of For Women Scotland Ltd v The Scottish
Ministers appears to be weighted towards the perspective of those who
campaigned for and celebrated the outcome, while giving insufficient
recognition to those who opposed it. You have confirmed that you are not
challenging the judgment itself or the inclusion of the case in the exhibition.
As Head of External Affairs and Communications, with responsibility for the
exhibition, I have been asked to respond to the matters you have raised. It may
be helpful first to explain the exhibition's purpose and approach.
The Law and Us features 70 appeals heard by the Supreme Court, the Judicial
Committee of the Privy Council and the Appellate Committee of the House of
Lords, the predecessor to the Supreme Court. The cases cover a wide range of
legal issues and were selected to illustrate both the breadth of the Court's work
and the ways in which the law affects people's lives. The exhibition also explains
the creation of the Court, the development of law in the UK and the role of the
Judicial Committee of the Privy Council.
For Women Scotland Ltd v The Scottish Ministers is one of the 70 featured appeals.
As with the other case studies, it explains the background to the dispute, the"

"legal questions considered, the Justices' decision and a subsequent reflection
from a Justice or another person connected with the law. Images relating to the
appeal or its wider context were selected to help visitors understand the issues.
...You suggest that the headline, "When the law says 'woman', what does it mean?"
could imply that the Court went further than the judgment itself. The headline
refers expressly to the meaning of terms used in law. The question before the
Court concerned the meaning of "woman" and "sex" in a specific piece of
legislation. This is made clear in the case study under the paragraph heading
"The heart of the case". The display does not suggest that the Court provided a
general definition outside of the legislation it was considering.
Regarding your concerns about the images used - which you say "reflects the
perspective of those who celebrated the judgment" while largely ignoring those who
did not - the display features an image of the Scottish Government alongside that
of For Women Scotland, thus representing both parties in the appeal. This is
consistent with the approach taken across the exhibition. Their purpose is to
illustrate the case and its context, rather than to represent every individual or
organisation with an interest in the wider debate. The inclusion of any image
does not signify the Court's endorsement of any person or organisation
depicted. We did not visually represent the interveners; however, details of them
as well as the judgment, are available on the Court's website, along with the
recordings of the hearing and written_legalarguments.
Lady Rose's contribution is a personal reflection on the atmosphere in
Courtroom 1 when the judgment was handed down. It does not endorse a
particular position or present the outcome as a cause for celebration. The
exhibition also states that, when handing down the judgment, the Court
emphasised that trans people remain protected from discrimination under the
Equality Act 2010.."

IMO don't eat anything with activated charcoal, period. It's meant as a medication and needs to stop being used in everything just for the cool factor. If you're taking important medications especially avoid it because it'll likely mess with them.
