Nyamakop has now had multiple museums reach out now to ask if we need more artifacts for Relooted, and if we'd like to 3D scan parts of their African collection. It was very much not on my bingo card that real life museums would be asking us to fictionally steal their artifacts lol

I’ve seen some unwarranted comments regarding the game and it’s dawned on me that many people aren’t familiar with repatriation or restitution which I can assume is the premise of the game. (Yes this is an actual comment but I’ve pixeled it out)

A comment about Relooted that reads, “Please don’t take this the wrong way but a game about Black people and the core gameplay is stealing? Like wow, bold move. No concents at all about how that might be received online? No thoughts like ‘Hmmm, maybe this could attract the wrong kind of fanbase?’”
