I wouldn't mind so much if they were more upfront about the timetable, the mystery is intolerable

Ben Schouten @bengschout.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

If they're still splitting up the different stages it'll probably still have the same effect tbh

I'm pretty anti-binge generally but I won't make a fuss because it's so beyond my control but the batch release is the absolute worst of both worlds, absolutely kneecapped Stone Ocean and for no reason

A not uncommon thing with Blacklist-to-bargain bin projects is the scripts tend to require a very tricky tonal balance which is all well and good if the writer decided the tone of a movie

Ben Schouten @bengschout.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

Oh the script for the terrible movie works on the page? Should we tell everyone? Should we throw a party? Should we invite The Blacklist?

oh you're a British novelist of the twentieth century and your writing satirises the cloying social conventions of the aristocracy while at once mourning its inevitable eclipse by a crude and grasping middle class? Wow. Tell me more about your repressed homosexuality

So, I draw a lot of swords...but I also do other weapons! For instance; bows! Here are the two I have done thus far~ Want a bow for yourself, your OC, or some other purpose? Like the swords, they are a flat $50!

The Potter Broadway play “stalled at the box office” until they started stunt-casting actors from the films as adult versions of their characters. Weekly grosses DOUBLED when Felton started playing Draco & Grint’s run starts a month after Felton leaves. They are making this show viable & profitable.

“Grint’s “Cursed Child” stint will begin a month after the end of a 14-month run in the show by Tom Felton, who as a child played the bullying Draco Malfoy in the films, and who now plays that character, with an improved personality, as an adult onstage. (The play is set 19 years after the main action of the final novel.)

Felton’s tenure has provided a remarkable boost to the play, which had stalled at the box office before his casting. Weekly grosses doubled upon Felton’s arrival last November, and have remained elevated — they dip noticeably during his occasional absences for vacations or for work on other projects. And the scene at the stage door has become considerably more crowded, reflecting the enthusiasm of the enormous Harry Potter fan base

New weapon draw! Another warhammer/hammer study. The Golden Monarch, referring to the monarch butterfly. This time, I primarily based it on a medieval/early modern French piece, from the 1450's. Would you like me to draw you a hammer, sword, or other fantasy weapon? They are a flat $50!
