Rep. Stacey Plaskett: Trump may not have the hold he thinks over all Rs in congress
As a house manager in Trump’s second impeachment trial, Rep. Stacey Plaskett spent hours combing through footage of the January 6th attack on the Capitol. And yet, before Trump’s second inauguration, she is determined. Trump will not “have the enormous amount of power that he would like to have,” she says. Bipartisan efforts won’t only come from Democrats, she says, but also from “Republicans who are going to want to work,” and are “exhausted with the fight and want to do right by the American people.”
