This is why we should never compromise with our oppressors. Puberty blockers were the compromise position, let trans kids get to 16 when they can make their own decisions about going on HRT, without having to suffer—instead of just giving them HRT.

Touch starved

At a certain point
You get so hungry

And food doesn't even really

But it only reminds you of
All the food you aren't eating

And at night maybe you think of
A glorious buffet, succulent and sensuous
But it's too far from the truth
To even appeal
So you curl up in bed
And dream of more realistic things

Every time I see someone say that trans men should take selfies in women’s rooms, etc, to make trans bathroom panic look stupid, it speaks to me of a lack of understanding of how trans oppression operates and why. It’s not a thought error. It’s not irrationality.
