Saturday morning, an airstrike flattened the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab, in Iran's Hormozgan province. The girls inside were between 7 and 12 years old. Around 170 students were in the building when it was hit. Iran's semiofficial Mehr News Agency reports 63 students killed and 60 injured.

Just reminded of the "Scully Effect" - that girls who watched the X-files were more likely to pursue careers in science- but this ignores the bigger "Mulder Effect" which inspired a whole generation of young men to become socially awkward porn addicted conspiracy theorists.
