Just the one beer today, I’m not staying long.
The picture shows Tim in a pub holding an oversized pewter tankard. The tankard can hold one gallon of beer.

Line cleaning with snake oil?
It’s part and parcel of selling draught beer but many publicans want to do it less frequently. There are products available to achieve this, but are they worth the risk?

#saisonsunday is rapidly becoming a thing in our house. This hibiscus blended saison from @fyneales.bsky.social Origins Brewing was so good, I immediately ordered another six bottles.
A stemmed glass of red coloured beer, next to a green 375ml bottle. The bottle label says Origins Brewing x Inver Ìbisg. The glass and bottle are on a garden table, the background is foliage and a blue sky.

Thursday night in Montpellier, every bar is packed, every terrace is full, I had steak, chips, salad for dinner with free bread and a pint and it came to €26. People are spending money! This is what the UK could have if we just gave hospitality a break from the endless tax and overhead pummelling!

Beer people! I’ve recently been given this bottle of Bass Museum Brewery Strong Ale brewer in 1988. Ltd edition #445/500. Does anyone have any information on this beer, or Museum brewery from that time? All info appreciated. I plan to open it and try it in due course.
A bottle of Bass Museum Brewery Strong Ale, main label shows the trademark red triangle. Displayed brewed on date 30th May 1988. Neck label says limited edition of 500. Bottle number 445. The bottle has a black wax seal on the top that is slightly damaged. The black glass bottle is approximately 500ml in size and is sitting on a white desk
