I’m away again for work - Valencia - but last night I had a couple of beers at home. Obviously the days in Munich of Helles and Festbier have taken a hold of me, as I’ve gone for one of each from Pretty Decent and Sierra Nevada. And they were superb!

Munich Day 4 - no visit to the Wies’n today. First, a tour of Allianz Arena, then into the city for lunch and beers (Erdinger and Paulaner Weissbier). Then on to dinner at LowenbrauKeller where we had a 50-litre keg for 10 people - and got nowhere near finishing it!

Munich Day 2. No beer at Oktoberfest today, as I was busy outside of the Wies’n. However, a couple of craft beers at Higgins Ale Works - a WC Pils and a Sour - which were lovely; a Dunkel at Schiller Brau; and a Paulaner at the hotel. We’re at the fair tomorrow though!

Next stop in Valencia is Sanders Craft Beer, around the corner from my hotel. It’s a tiny microbrewery run by a Swedish and Indian couple with beer recipes from each country. I’ve gone for BÄRS IPL. An interesting beer, as it tastes punchier than its ABV. Not cheap either 😳😜

I’m in Valencia for work. Business done, now it’s beer time. First is Beers & Travels Bar with a couple of @cervezasambar tanks (of which I tried the “Fresca” lager - lovely and refreshing!) and then a nice IPA from local brewery, Tyris. Accompanied by hummus, guac, and nachos!
