On 28-29 September, partners of the #HOPE4Kids project met in Trieste, with our colleague from the Cancer Centre. This 4-year project aims to strengthen and harmonises paediatric palliative care across Europe for children living with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions.

How can we better meet the needs of 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 & 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗱𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 with cancer? A Symposium took place at @sciensano.be last week under the theme "Empowering collaboration: Toward Integrated Cancer Care for AYA Patients". It brought together stakeholders committed to improving care for these patients.

At #BSMO2026 (6–7 Feb), Sciensano’s Cancer Centre presented a poster on long-term follow-up after #childhoodcancer in Belgium. A national survey across 7 paediatric haemato-oncology centres shows major heterogeneity, limited psychosocial integration, and a need for a shared paediatric–adult model.
