little man's side-eye game is absolutely unmatched vet assistants take photos of him doing this to share with colleagues because otherwise they will not believe the sheer talent that this dog has #chihuahua #dogdsofbluesky

Benzo is very much a cartoon dog most of the time, but on Bath Day he turns it up a notch #dogsofbluesky #chihuahua

is it Benzo's eighth birthday today, maybe he's a rescue so we can't be sure, but this is the day that the shelter estimated so we're running with it he had a long walk to the pet store today to get treats and toys, and now he is crashed out we love you, Benzo #dogsofbluesky #chihuahua

The little man is turning eight later this week, we think. (As a rescue, we can't be entirely sure.) And as he gets older, things get more complicated. Specifically, Benzo developed a heart murmur earlier this year, discovered by a vet during a regular visit. (1/6) #dogsofbluesky #chihuahua

coming back to bluesky for a little bit for a few things first: one of my favorite internet people, @vaspider.gay , is facing some enormous vet bills for Ser Davos Seawoof, a dog that is Benzo's spiritual brother in trauma and neediness and being a tremendous problem for all concerned #gofundme

little man and I went out for errands today in the ridiculous heat, took a break together in the pedestrian part of a parking garage, and he decided that he liked cooling off on the brick floor more than my lap. fair enough, my man #dogsofbluesky #chihuahua

we don't know where he learned how to do this, whether it was from cats in his life before we adopted him, or if he got it from us cleaning off his eye gunk. not his only cat-like trait either (as he wants us to believe that he has never been fed) #dogsofbluesky #chihuahua
