To na mesma!

I’m spending the week with my Danish aunt that lives near Copenhagen, and it’s crazy how I get amazed with the Danes talking about how they live (for example: woman’s rights, social support, parental leave, etc). And when I look up the news at my country (Brazil) I get so mad about +

When she was venting about it, I was like: “WAIT.. do you WRITE A LETTER asking them to use your funds to pay some tax and they used to do it?? 😱” Now she does it by sending e-mail (she writes the letter by hand and ask me to send the bank via email 😂).

Beatriz Milz @beamilz.com · 27/11/2024

I remember when the bank responded to my grandmother that they would not accept requests via mail (✉️) anymore. She got really angry (and she still does not use online banking). She is German but she has been living in Brasil for a long time now, but still have to pay some taxes etc

Exactly! I live in a tropical country 😂 and we usually don’t have good clothes for heavy rain or too much cold weather (that’s why I adore decathlon, is one of the few places near home that I can find clothes that are water resistant and so on (usually people go there before traveling 😂)

110

Beatriz Milz @beamilz.com · 25/11/2024

.. but after that event I bought a pretty expensive backpack because it was water resistant.. a Fjällräven Ulvo 30.. and my stuff never got wet again 🙏😂 And also bought a jacket from decathlon that is water resistant, NOW IM PREPARED! 😂

I’m also a bit traumatized with heavy rain because once I travelled for a conference in the US, was raining a lot, and my backpack was no water resistant (neither my clothes). So the stuff inside my backpack got a bit wet, and my computer was there 💻. I was lucky that nothing broke +

Beatriz Milz @beamilz.com · 25/11/2024

I live in São Paulo and thankfully does not snow there 😂 But sometimes, especially during summer, we have heavy rains concentrated in a short period of time. So usually we are not wearing proper clothes for heavy rain and end up all wet 😭😂😭

210

Beatriz Milz @beamilz.com · 25/11/2024

Bad weather for me is when is raining and it’s not easy to walk outside without getting wet (I hate when my shoes get wet 😂) The weather in the picture seems nice!! Enjoy the day
