i don't use the same AI model for everything boring well-defined tasks go to copilot as issues. lighter model for quick iterations, heavier one when precision matters more than speed

you see HEAD~1 in git commands all the time, but what is it? 👀 HEAD is where you are now, HEAD~1 is the commit right before it. once it clicks, undo commands make way more sense ☺️

reset vs revert: which one should you use in #Git They both undo, but they're not the same. git reset rewrites history, git revert makes a new commit that undoes the old one, which is the safe choice on shared branches. Clip from my full video on undoing commits.

Old stashes pile up and cause conflict headaches. git stash drop throws away the most recent one, or add an index like stash@{1} to drop a specific stash. Keep your stash list clean.

Pushed a change but your GitHub Pages site won't rebuild? Make an empty commit. git commit --allow-empty -m "rebuild repo" creates a real commit with no file changes, and GitHub rebuilds your site. No fake edits needed.
