I fear that when I mention my willingness to unhinge my jaw and consume this man like an anaconda with a woodland ungulate… It’s taken as hyperbole. It is not.

This picture reminds me that it’s been too long since I poured out a healthy dose of provocative descriptors wrt this hot ass MF and -to be frank- I should be ashamed. I’d rend my garments in response to the color of his lips here, but they already left the building when they saw his little smirk.

Taika is holding a spoon, aiming it downward toward some kind of… custard? That looks like a soft boiled egg? Anyway none of that matters.

The important thing is that he looks like a whole entire snack with his pinky lips and gorgeous eyes.

I actually really appreciate this little exercise, because it made me sit down and try it again with a 30 minute max instead of five and it was a nice stretch of muscles I don’t normally use. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✍🏻✍🏻✍🏻 I need to get back into this kind of practice

It’s very Me™️ coded that my “Same Guy” art is all unfinished. 😆 I just have Taikas in various states of completion scattered about my painting area. Waiting. Watching me start new ones.

Small canvas oil painting of Taika as Ed from the post-gravy basket scene. The original plan for this one was to make several small canvases which feature a different square of his body and could be displayed as a collage. I didn’t even finish the face one yet.

This is one I was working on for Taika’s birthday last year. It’s a Henri Rousseau inspired mishmash of all kinds of images from his movies and his interests with native New Zealand flowers and foliage. He is featured in the center. I made it up to the point where I needed to do shadows and highlights to finish it off, but ran out of time before his birthday and that’s as far as it got.

Close up of the eyes from the “demon?” scene. This one is about 75 percent done but is missing finer details still. Lashes. Hair. Finishing parts. Polishing. Etc. it’ll get there.

The least finished of this particular batch. Taika’s neck and jawline in black and white looking off to the right of screen. This is one in progress made after a photo shoot he did several months ago. Again… I’ll get back to it.
