AI develops faster then most people think. The complexity of tasks that can be completed by AI doubles every 3 to 7 month.

If our labour is no longer needed, we need to »decouple our livelihoods from the ability to sell our labour power« (quote from our ECI).

While women already earn 12% less than men when it comes to paid labor, if unpaid labor is factored in, the real pay gap widens dramatically: women earn 45% less than men. Unconditional Basic Income (UBI) would help immensely here.

We used to have 7 day workweeks. Then labour fought long and hard for a day off, then 2, and better work conditions all around. There's no reason we can't keep progressing, given the promise of AI, robotics, and labour-saving technology. UBI is a central part of this vision.
