Yes they were different tbf. I don’t really think any punishment will fit the crime. Because the punishment is obvious - expulsion. That won’t happen though. And if they are expelled which league/orgsnisation will accept them?

It needs to be a few relegations but we all know it won’t. But it basically means that for the period in question the whole competition was compromised. Rangers and Juventus took their punishment and so shouid they. Although Rangers was different in a way the crime in this case is worse.

He wasn’t too bad. I managed to get 1k off. He had to ‘go round the back to speak to the manager’. Basically he took off the 1k they expected to take off in the first place. It’s such a fuss. Just fuggin price it at the actual amount it’s for sale. Wasting everyone’s time.

I think one thing is clear as the season settles. Apart from JJ and The Zing our summer signings have been poor. It’s all very well buying young but don’t bypass ability.

I don’t know much about Italian football but it seems to me that standards are getting lower. Players like Omari Hutchinson and Lyod Kelly are playing for the biggest teams in the league and are pretty average. In fact there are a sprinkling of average British footballers in Italy.

Not sure when it stopped. By the time I was 13-14 I was in The Brummie and don’t remember seeing it in there. That was the mid-80’s. But early 80’s I’m sure it was happening.

It was definitely a thing in the 80’s. I stood in The Woodman is a kid and there were plenty of blokes who had a pint in their hands. Nobody ever got covered in booze round me tbh.
