If you're a streamer on windows 11 check your audio input settings for your mic as there's now an AI powered "Audio enhancement" section that defaults to on which can interfere with your microphone audio if you're already processing your audio via OBS filters or other software

there is no such thing as "age verification." All "age verification" is actually "identity verification." You can coat it in glitter and "privacy-preserving" wrapping paper. But in the end, mandating age verification means mandating surveillance be built into software and hardware. Period.

Some streamers are talking about YouTube as an alternative due to Twitch’s GenAi training issue but YouTube has been doing that longer and isn’t as transparent about it. You can opt out but theres also this disclaimer that you can’t opt out of them still using your content to train thier ai 🫠

A disclaimer that says: The settings shown only control third-party access to content for Al training (off by default) and features like
dubbing/enhancements; they do not prevent YouTube/Google from using videos for its own Al training, for which no opt-out exists.
