I think I can safely say that Fortune's Weave has probably the best soundtrack in the entire series. I feel like that might be a hot take but I keep on just coming back to these tracks more than any other tracks so far and I don't even think is recency bias.

I love how "Bribing America" is becoming a political strategy for these guys and it's for less money than what you would get from something like universal healthcare or lower cost college. I can't wait for the fossils to move on to the next life.

Whelp desk is built and it seems sturdy enough. Downside is my speakers are sort of fried so that means I gotta go and find some new ones, which sucks since they were both pretty good studio monitors (that I never used for mixing lol)

Going to be rearranging stuff in my room/ office over the next couple of days/weeks while I work on commissions and I hope my production speed will turn up a little bit. Again commissions will be open but the delivery date for them will probably be well into next year unless I'm really locked in

Well the sale is over and while I wasn't able to hit either of the goals I wanted to reach I'm still incredibly grateful for all the support and still raising over ¢2000 during the 2 months the sale was going on for! I'll still be keeping commissions open at full value until the end of November!

3 MORE DAYS UNTIL MY SALE CLOSES!! If I don't meet the required amount I will more than likely keep commissions open and the 4K reward open but drop the 3K reward. But if you want savings on my commissions it's best to get them now!

Playing this route so far is making me want to make a revenge filled murderous bard. Not the first time I've played a video game character like that but Leda is already giving me the vibes I want from that.

Just finished up the first path of Fortune's Weave and I'm beginning to realize that I can't just brute force this like I have other Fire Emblem games. Now onto the next part and... oh god this is a fucking tone shift...

LAST WEEK OF THE SALE!!!! Still have a lot of ground to cover to reach the goal but I have had people reach out, just nothing confirmed yet so I can add them to the total. So come get a commission while they're hot!! Or buy my music off Bandcamp or donate to my Ko-Fi!!

Hey body thanks for the nap, I would have liked to, you know, get more than 3 hours of sleep??? I swear getting paid to do marching band really fucked up my bodies time since it's used to being up and working on very little amount of sleep.

I can tell Fortune's Weave is going to be probably the game I play the most from now until Evercold comes out (other than maybe OoT) because dear god this game is already hooking me just from the prolouge alone. Now I'm just trying to figure out which storyline to do first 🤔

2 WEEKS UNTIL MY VGEN SALE IS OVER!!!! Getting into the home stretch for this so I'll be reposting this a lot the next few weeks until I'm able to reach my goal! Remember, if you aren't able to commission me, sales on Bandcamp and donations on Ko-fi also go towards the total towards the PC!

14830

TavernCatRecords, but spooky @taverncatrecords.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Would this be something people would be interested in buying btw? In my mind it'd be like 40 to 50 tracks work around $10-$15 on Bandcamp or VGen (if I can figure out if that's even possible to sell on VGen) idk I gotta get through the commission sale and get a new PC first.

253

TavernCatRecords, but spooky @taverncatrecords.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I think once I get the money for a new PC I think my next big project will be making a big album of D&D background music. I know that's not an original market but I'm pretty sure more music for D&D campaigns will be good not just for me monetarily but also just for DM's looking for music.

I feel like considering all the comics and other fan content, Marvel (comics not the MCU) is going to do their own version of Petra Parker. It's more a question of when they will pull the trigger on that.

A little more than 3 weeks until the sale is over! Still only about halfway towards the goal and I'm slowly making progress on my queue. I might readjust the goal a little and shoot for over $4000 since I forgot the cut that VGen and Paypal take out of it, but we'll see.

I sort of unintentionally stopped my playthrough of Pokemon Scarlet mainly because I've been busy. Now I'm waiting to see if they remove Ed Sheeran's track from the ending of the game and see what they replace it with.
