Mini-cotta is a cute name. For something more mythological, how about "agathion"? The word comes from abrahamic mythology and occultism and refers to a familiar spirit that appears in the shape of a person or animal, and can appear in a pot, bottle, or jar. This is what they look like in SMT/Persona

Key art of the demon Agathion from the Shin Megami Tensei franchise. It appears as a pot with the star of David on the outside with a small blue creature with orange eyes and two horn-like antennae peeking out from inside with a roguish grin.

This week's read is Dear Stupid Penpal by Rascal Hartley, from @tenebrouspress.bsky.social. A hard-hitting sci-fi romantic drama told entirely through correspondence. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just finished reading Olyoke by @endwellian.bsky.social. I've said a lot about this book already, but I think this is my favorite book I've read this year. Some absolutely genius moments of subtle interconnection and cosmic horror. Olyoke is a modern hillbilly King In Yellow and it absolutely rules.
