I've been skeptical of PlayIndies since they first reached out. But I wrote them off as "another PR outlet for games," and this places them exactly in that camp. Very few PR outreach emails mention a game's use of gen A.I. It's not a conversation I'm equipped to have, but it's still disappointing.

We have all been very open about how we hate Gen AI and don't want it in the games we play. We can't give Level-5 a pass just because they made Professor Layton. The studio's are not your friend no matter what. Stand strong and say no to Generative AI.
