Also, for a non-musical version: the poems of Robert W. Service and the paintings of Ted Harrison were a one-two punch when I was a kid. They remain favorites.

One of Ted Harrison's works used in the illustrated edition of Robert W. Service's poem, "The Cremation of Sam McGee". It depicts two men, back-to-back, waist deep in snow, under the northern night sky, sled dogs curled up in the foreground. The colours are vibrant and icy blues predominate.

This is also deeply embarassing. The milquetoast language here and the whitewashing of what was basically hagiography and excusing constitutional crimes.

A highlight portion of the Pulitzer Prize awards, saying that the Pulitzer for "Investigative Reporting" was given to the New York Times for "exposing how Trump has shattered constraints on conflicts of interest and exploited the moneymaking opportunities that come with power". Trump committed crimes. He accepted bribes. Call a crime a crime, don't say it "shattered constraints" you craven bootlickers.
