Dan seems to have infinite patience with these weirdos, but something I've noticed with this stuff - folks who have actually worked trades know what welding gloves are for, and that's spark protection. They aren't for handling hot objects, you use tools for that.

I suspect a lot of folks did what I did when they first got to Bsky, which was find a former Twitter moot and just blindly follow everyone they were following to try and rebuild that particular circle. Lots of folks missed the rebrand (as I did).
