Presenting this one in context because I think it makes the points being made significantly more malignant. The chain of logic is so pained and fraught, it would be tragic on a personal level for someone to earnestly believe this if if weren’t justifying the murder of tens of thousands of children

It's also worth noting that Israel's measured response didn't even start on 10/7. Or 10/8. It started three weeks later on 10/28. So in that sense, mentioning ANYTHING about the so-called "genocide" in a statement about 10/7 is not just morally inappropriate, but also literally the wrong time. 7/22
