Well that's a wrap. The Mets 2026 season came in like a lamb and went out like a baby lion. I don't think anyone should be shocked if they're the 2027 version of the White Sox (except even better, because the Sox don't have a Juan Soto).

They say if you dread an exercise before doing it, it's likely a very effective one. I'd agree. Three sets of 20 walking lunges with 110 pounds. #FitnessSky

AI music has an aesthetic: over produced and most aptly, robotic. It sounds like it was generated and performed by a machine; but not in the brilliant way that REAL musicians like Kraftwerk or Yellow Magic Orchestra have made machine music a part of human expression.

WSOU is such a paradox. A college station dedicated and renowned for extreme metal and hardcore music from a Catholic university!?! They have to bleep out any reference to Hell or the Devil, but all the other gory details remain intact. We're truly blessed to have it on our radio dials!

Thank you, Rabbi. I always appreciate hearing this from a theological perspective. Thankfully, I've essentially recovered from an ED I had as a young adult; but I've not fasted since then because the concept is triggering. I certainly don't feel guilt about not fasting on Yom Kippur, 1/2

It feels demoralizing to miss my protein goal. But it’s far worse that I’m letting myself be bummed out by it, rather than just giving myself some leeway and self-love, regardless. This is OCD, and it sucks, but I’m working on it.

Very few legends of music history can claim to have songs worth covering a million times over, whilst also releasing an album of cover songs that they've distinctly transformed into their own original versions. Only titans like Dolly Parton and Johnny Cash can do that.

Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.

It's really sad to see independent musicians feeling the need to post a disclaimer that their work was "not made with AI." First of all, it's usually apparent, generative AI does have an "aesthetic," but more importantly, it's exemplary of how artists are feeling demoralized and being exploited.
