Sharing a CPU core comes with a security tradeoff. At exe, your team’s VMs can share cores with each other. Other teams’ VMs stay separate. And if your own VMs need that separation too, your team admin can turn sharing off. Ian explains how it works: blog.exe.dev/crossing-the...

I like this… but also feels awkward since very few people make their own clothes. But maybe this is also accurate for what the future of app looks like. The predominant motion for most folks will still be buying from makers. But the makers will have better controls to do custom work.

Maybe, but I just come back to the idea that I love cooking and I still eat out regularly. Just because I can build it myself doesn’t mean I always want to. But I do agree the App Store is likely to change. Just like a farmer’s market in a rural area looks different from a grocery store.

What I find most fascinating is that this was built by someone who believed this was the optimal UI/UX for the target consumer. On the one hand, it is flattering to think that so many embroidery designers are also experienced visual programmers. On the other hand, my dudes, talk to your customers.
