Go me, marking the option to prevent right click saving pictures only to realize LATER I need to use right click to get the link. Use incredibly popular good ol' turnaround to save pictures when you can't right click. It works. Steals my own image and worries later about the implications.

oh no :( I was thinking the temporary files stored when some programs keep auto-saving every X number of minutes, since they store multiple versions and only delete once you turn the PC off. But if you've tried that I'm assume they're gone. I'm sorry 💔

(I'm talking about heavily specialized and precise tools and workflows which were impossible to accurately migrate in other programs at the time. They invest heavily in research for specialized tools, but once someone hyperfixates on a replica method, it's joever)

I was checking up on alternative programs to replace adobe suite with and oh wow. 99% of their tools are now present in other places or have a workaround. All it takes is one hyperfixated user to figure it out and make a tutorial. RIP.

Depends what process or tool you want. I can do MOST stuff in CSP but I have no idea where I'd run if I needed fast photo manipulation techniques. It's trial and error and using CH's freetone for printing, but it works.

Customers get fatigue and give up too. One bad item amongst many good ones is a complaint. SEVERAL bad items gaslight customers into thinking they are complaining karens, exhausts them, and reluctantly get whatever is cheapest and gets the job done. Enshittification bets on that.

The ones that take the most heat if they fuck up their detection process are anti-AI brands: they can lose most of their customers. Brands open and loud about not caring / are pro-AI have customers on board with them. This means the later brands often rise over and overpower the first ones.

Detecting AI mines to ensure they don't get added by accident is eating an incredible amount of time in pipelines. They cause reputational damage and late releases, and small studios and indie creators who cannot afford in-house artists and quality control are the most affected, as always.
