I really hope to share work in the coming months here that showcases what I learned and the push ahead that I greatly needed which this conference definitely gave me. Follow so I'd have the binding guilt every creator needs to not procrastinate.

There's a lot less need for capital in digital though. You can build today with nearly $0 what would have cost companies tens of millions just 10-15 years ago. And that's without AI. AI greatly shortens that, which is why no company will rest on their laurels with this technology and downsize.

My bigger question is why aren't the Dems doing the same thing? Have the Republicans push against it and make it illegal, but until then fight with the same ammunition.

plus the fired staff could buy their own pin making machine but still add quality to it. Either way it's a bad example - physical costs money and space. Digital is easier to get and match. I work in Gaming, every tool ever made has always made its way to individuals who raised the competition.

What's stopping the pin makers who got fired from building their own pin making company and selling good pins at a premium? Tailored clothes sell at a premium, hand made shoes sell at a premium. Most people can't afford to buy them, but it's not like they don't exist.

I'm talking about jobs and the grander picture. But even if we zoom in, as someone who works on art and on projects where quality matters I can tell you for a fact most of us would not abandon quality. We use AI as a tool in a pipeline to shorten processes but we'll always maintain control over it

I appreciate your opinion but I disagree. Or rather, even if it's the point, history has taught us that technology that came to replace always ended up adding rather than subtraction. If a business relies solely on AI, they're basically forfeiting their advantage because I can use the same tools.

Just wanted to jump in and say it was a great talk. It's something I'm trying to hammer to my students constantly about the importance of narrative as a throughline of a game and you gave me some great points to further drive this home.

5/ Obama didn't campaign on Gay Rights, and we were fine with it because we knew we had to take it piece by piece. It doesn't mean to abandon the fight or your values, it just means to prioritize them so you could be strong enough to protect marginalized people from a place of power. Focus.

4/ Trans rights are important, 100%. But they're not the #1 issue, yet they're perceived as that by the voters. The top party issues should be central to every voter - say saving Democracy. Then when you win you can bring in additional change for marginalized groups.

3/ The party and the people have to start talking about where they're winning and what they did well, instead of constantly talking about it not being enough. Winning should be celebrated, because voters want to feel that their choices brought real change. Start winning, then tackle the extras.

2/ Biden was perceived as delivering a weak economy. It didn't matter that the economy was booming under him and would continue so if Harris won, because that wasn't what people were hearing. The Dems have to improve their messaging because it's not going through the social media noise.

1/ This is once again "right" instead of "smart" democratic reasoning. The problem with the Democratic party is the perceived policy of the party rather than real policy. Dems are perceived as if they want to defund the police. It stuck. DEI is perceived as an anti-white hiring practice.

It's my genuine belief that for the progressive left there is no depth, only shallow performative virtue signaling. The goal isn't to improve the world, it's to have a world that needs improving. Discussion is not allowed, dissenting opinions are not allowed, compromise is not allowed. In or out.

He's white. His face is that pink white that only looks innocent on white redheads, but his legs are tan. How i can see his bare legs to know they're tan, that comes later.

He is wearing a light lilac button down shirt, with what looks like a blazer his parents bought him, hoping he'd eventually fill out so it'd fit him, but he never did. The button down is untucked, hanging loose and longer than his too short but still oddly oversized blazer. The blazer is light grey, but not the kind of light grey that goes with his light lilac shirt, or his pink white complexion.

His arms are crossed in front of his chest, petulantly.

He is wearing light grey shorts, but neither the same light nor grey of his blazer. They are flatfront shorts, straight leg, and hit above the knee, revealing his tanned legs, legs much tanner than his face.

I hate him. He calls himself Big Balls. He has control over the US Treasury.
